IBM Z Decision Support currently does not collect Db2 Integrated Synchronization IFCID 2 counters. In Db2 component table DB2_IDAA_STAT_S_H/D there is column REPLICATION_CPU, but is only populated with data for CDC replication. Since we have migra...

Allow LIST RECORD consumption to be drifted to ZIIP processors.

Now, IZDS and IZPCA allow the derivation of a COLLECT to ZIIP, but it is not possible to do the same with a LIST RECORD.It would be good to study the possibility of adapting the LIST RECORD as well.

Enable the ability to run the COLLECT batch process of different components in parallel.

When a COLLECT process is executed, some DB2 resources are allocated that prevent processes that collect data for different components (CICS, DB2, MVS and so on) from being executed in parallel. If the COLLECT processes of different components cou...

XLF: request support for -shared flag consistent with the XLC usage

The XLC compiler accepts the "-shared" flag as an alias to "-qmkshrobj" to create shared object (.so) files, but the XLF compiler does not. The XLF option -shared is not documented but is not identified as invalid when it is used. Using -shared do...

FORTRAN V2.6 for z/OS - Add Compiler Option to Force Explicit Variable Declarations

The Fortran compiler for z/OS does not have a compiler option to force all variables to be explicitly declared. Instead each and every program has to be coded with an IMPLICIT NONE statement. We would like a compiler option to force this instead o...
