Lock sharing of database tables between TXSeries and WAS

We are looking for a feature where Java EJB program and COBOL need to the update the same DB2 table without bothering about locks, even if they are against the fundamentals of XA protocol.

Circular hops between Java and COBOL transactions

we have CICS applications that make circular hops between Cobol program and Java EJB application and they perform update on RDMBS database that are belong on same LUW ,need to work in two-phase commit . Opened same RFE on CICS TG CTG-I-134

changing the console log files destination directory

EPO needs to write console log messages in a specific directory in a /log File System with enough space and not in the /var TXSeries region directory.

Support CICS application-provided SOAP faults for inbound web services

TXseries does not support Channels with inbound web services. Thus web service programs must be called with a COMMAREA.

For TXSeries 8.1 and above on AIX, users(whose group set is cics) can check the status by cicslssrc.

Need to be able to specified the schema name for storing VSAM files in a database.

We need to be able to configure the schema name to store in database a VSAM files.The tables emulating the VSAM file are always stored in a schema named CICS.
