Increase TOS Message limit to 512 or 1024 characters

ETOS.EXE has to truncate messages to 255 characters. This limit should be extended to 512 or 1024 characters so that every message sent to a tpf host's console can be captures.

It could by useful if COBOL editor automatically create reference. Perhaps IDZ could ask the PIC clause (PIC X(10), PIC S9(3) COMP, …) and the section (WORKING, LINKAGE) and add it at the end of this section.

Support for __ptr64 qualifier in LE C

LE C compiler should support the __ptr64 qualifier for 64-bit pointers in 31-bit (or 64-bit) code, as it does for Metal C. Furthermore, EDCDSECT should convert a 64-bit addresses (declared as "AD") to "void * __ptr64", for consistency.

We try to use Quick Fix function to resolve warnings and errors in the editor but it's not available.

Create/update DVSVC000 at IMS control region start

IMS should create the DFSVC000 member at a cold start. or IMS should override the IMS ID from the Sysgen process in the DFSVC000 member with the IMSID provided in the DFSPBxxx member at a cold start.

TIM and remote debug have a time out possebility - CICS has not when running debug in CICS terminal

setting default presentation of varaibles in monitor

there is no support in the debug engine for the remote debug session as you see it in MFI - there is no code to set the default presentation . You can use the memory view but thats the same as changing the presentation for each variable.
