None information is provided when a storage issue happens in a file which has been excluded according to the product rules.

In a scenario where a DSN is not marked as to be managed by TAAM (it is excluded), there is no message in the joblog that informs about the exclusion. Therefore the user does not know if the problem happens in SMS or it is because TAAM is not instructed to manage it.
Other similar products show a message that indicates that the storage issue has not been recovered because of the settings in the product rules. For instance:
NR0002000 SYST 13344 05:05:29.80 JOB84126 00000280 DSR4001I RECOVERY ATTEMPT FAILED TO PASS FLST/RLST CRITERIA
This is a very useful message in the process of analyzing a storage incident.
