RELATED IDEAS

Support for NDM steps in JCL

Customer has 700+ NDM steps. And there are around 1000+ files which they send using NDM and needs analysis more frequently to trace it back. The analysis is more frequent and as they are feeds to other systems, understanding and including them in the impact is more crucial.

    Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. We feel this is a valid requirement but delivery within the RFE 2 year window is not likely. Please resubmit in 12-18 months for reconsideration if still valid. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

    A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.

    We do have 1700+ NDM jobs in the application and its very crucial that these should be considered for the impact analysis. Some cases we also require to under stand the flow including NDM starting and ending point. Without NDM jobs included, it makes it difficult to analyze with this tool.
