RELATED IDEAS

TRNID is not recognized as a keyword in CICS program during ADDI build

Hello Team,

During building one application, we came across with one error as below.
The TRNID is not a recognized but when we checked the same its running fine in Endevor.

IBM development team updated that unfortunately the TRNID isn't quite the correct token - hence it's not supported in any version (still they added several similar representations like TRANSID or TRNSID).

Could you please look into this and try to add this token TRNID in next version ,as many of our application are developed with this token as below.

Ex.

EXEC CICS
RETURN
TRNID(PROG-TRANID)
COMMAREA( VITCOMM )
LENGTH (LENGTH OF VITCOMM)
END-EXEC

    A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.

    If we will not be able to parse this token TRNID, we wont able to see all the transactions and Graph/Reports will be coming partially which is no more useful.
