Public API for Application Discovery Parser and Impact Analysis

Application Discovery is good at understanding the overall mainframe application platform. It creates a repository of parsed mainframe components and also cross linkages and dependencies.

Since Application Discovery parses the COBOL program and stores the parsed output in SQL server, the parsed output can be further used to extend the level of automation that can be brought in Continuous Testing phase.

By making available a puclic API that can return the Abstract syntax tree of the parsed cobol program and also the ability to use impact analysis feature of application discovery, tools can be developed that can further help in adopting application discovery as a continuous testing tool as part of overall DevOps lifecycle.
