DB2 & CICS coprocessors do not provide enough debug information

To convert to co-processors we need to have the CICS and DB2 listings or something equivalent.

We always print the first page of the DB2 and CICS pre-processor listing
because they tell the applications the verson of DB2 the program was
compiled using. DB2 and CICS have a different distribution schedule from
C/C++ (and Cobol) so it is important to know the version a program was
compiled with.

    IBM XL C/C++ for z/OS is a continuous delivery offering, and aims to satisfy the needs of a rapidly evolving market segment.
    Product strategy evolves and requirements are continuously evaluated against that strategy. This RFE has recently been reappraised against the wider product strategy and does not fall into IBMs delivery plans for the next 12 month. Whilst this RFE might be valid and we might look to deliver it longer term, this RFE is being rejected at this time. The requirement will be kept in our internal RFE backlog and might be reassessed in the future.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
    Product - C/C++ Compilers

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
    Product family - Design & development
    Product - C/C++ Compilers

    This is inline with our multi-year strategy and will be considered for a future compiler release. Once this item is put in plan, the RFE will be updated. Thanks.

    This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and IBM is continuing to evaluate.
