Hi Paul,

I discussed John's request with the management team. This feature is currently not on the list of planned, but with the explicit feature request coming from LLNL as IBM customer, we would add it to the plan.

Please use the following link on RFE web-site:

to create the feature request. For that, please

1) Fill out the necessary fields. For Brand, be sure to select 'Rational' and for Product Family select 'Design & Development'
2) In the description section, please use the generic description - we alread have the PMR on that so no need to provided the elaborate details.
3) Click submit once all the information has been filled out.

After the submission, please pass me the RFE number generated after the submission, so I would add it to the management records and close the PMR.

    This RFE was initially opened for BG/Q. Development for the BG/Q compiler has stopped and shifted to XL C/C++ for Linux. If this is still an issue on XL C/C++ for Linux, please open a new RFE for Linux. Thanks.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
    Product - C/C++ Compilers

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    Product family - Design & development
    Product - C/C++ Compilers
