Ability to keep BKR_Catalog & BKR_Job_Tape retention values in sync

In a backup job definition that will write the output to tape, we need to specify below 2 retention options:

Config BKR_Catalog_Retention = nnnn

Config BKR_Job_Tape_Retention = nnnn

Is there was a way to ensure they match may be by defining it with a variable? This way even if an admin makes a change to one retention, other can be automatically updated with this.

It would be nice if Backup Manager allows us to specify a $$ variable for the tape retention to indicate it should match the catalog retention.

Also, if possible, probably a sum option if any can also help. Ex:

BKR_Catalog_Retention = $$RET

BKR_Job_Tape_Retention = $$RET+5

$$RET = 30

This will give us some kind of confidence that both are in sync and it can be deleted in catalog but on the tape, after 5 days.
