Use of generic character in SET TRANSID for CBAC

We are planning the migration from CA DADS to CICS Batch Application Control and faced the need to convert CICS commands like “CEMT SET TRANSID(XX*),ENABLESTATUS(DISABLED)" allowed in DADS,too, as CBAC command using “SET TRANSID”, that is the only way to record the status of a transaction using CBAC.
According to the already opened case TS004867994 the use of the wild character “*” is currently not supported by “SET TRANSID”. This feature is only supported by “RUNCEMT” but in this case CBAC doesn't register the information in the control file, and only execute the command if CICS is up and running, that is not acceptable for us. Note that DADS supports the “*” and registered the command in its batch interface file, in any case even if CICS region is closed, in both cases that is a CICS command with CEMT or a SET DADS command to execute it once the CICS is up.
On the other hand, we cannot specify single transaction one by one in multiple commands because we cannot afford to maintain the process (in case a new transaction is added in CSD file) not activate the CBAC Monitor to track changes in the CICS region per our security policy.
Please consider to enhance this feature.

After review, this enhancement request is not recommended and is out of scope for the intended purpose of CICS BAC.
