This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Enterprise Tooling
Product - CICS Configuration Manager
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Enterprise Tooling
Product - CICS Configuration Manager
Initially, what we'd like to see are thess cpabilities:
1) Block line commands (copy, insert, move, delete) are required for the Transform Rule Set panel (CCVPAXFG).
2) Block delete for the configname CICS Resources panel (CCVPCM2L) panel
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Robert, I spoke to CICS CM development about this and they asked which particular panels you are referring to. Some of the CICS CM list panels have a pre-determined sort order so they would not be suitable for block move/copy. Also, this is not something that has been requested by any other CICS CM customer. However, if you give us a list of panels you are referring to, we can look into it.

There are multiple places within the CM ISPF interface where information is presented in a similar, row-oriented tabular form with the option of entering various commands on individual rows. We would like to amend this RFE to request that all such displays be enhanced to support applying commands to multiple rows in the same fashion as on our original request.
Thanks,
Robert
The same block-oriented functions should also be available for the (R)epeat and (D)elete operations.
