Date/Time stamp on the CM Package record

We are looking for a new field(could be optional to support existing customers) on CM package where we can provide details of the installation Date & Time of the package.
We like the AD team to fill in the this field and we can then use it to inquire the CM packages via batch interface and process the packages which are in APP status and met the install Date & Time criteria.
This will help us to process the PROD CM packages automatically without any manual intervention.
