Hi,
Could you elaborate on the option setting Automation to use reason code and mark the Batch job.
Can i get option like IDCAMS where i can use RC and SET MAXCC?
Can you generate different RC for this instead of 8(i think this is what we get now) then i can use it for suppressing and mark job as RC ZERO
We discussed this with CICS CM development. Changing the RC for a failed install would impact other CICS CM customers so we are reluctant to do that. Would it help if we provided a different Reason Code and message (for a failed install due to target region being down)? You could then use automation to handle the failed install.
