This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This RFE has been addressed for the CICS CM plug-in and is available via the CICS CM plug-in fix pack 5.4.0.9 (APAR IJ17710). The fix can be obtained via the z/OS Explorer Aqua 3.1 repository: http://public.dhe.ibm.com/ibmdl/export/pub/software/htp/zos/tools/aqua3.1/ as well as via the z/OS Explorer Aqua 3.2 repository: http://public.dhe.ibm.com/ibmdl/export/pub/software/htp/zos/tools/aqua3.2/. For further details as to how to install the fix pack follow the steps at: https://developer.ibm.com/mainframe/products/downloads/eclipse-tools/
This RFE has been addressed on the CICS CM host side and is available via the ISPF interface with the APAR PH09609:

The plug-in part of this enhancement is still to be delivered and is work in progress.
Hi Lakshmi,
Thanks for the additional information in this requirement.
I will discuss this with the development team.
regards,
Satish
Hi,
We have been following the same workaround that you have listed in the comment from the time we moved to CM. We requested for this RFE because of the following problems:
• The entire list gets refreshed (i.e. In addition to the group being added, the timestamps on all other groups also gets changed to the migration date). We lose the actual date of group addition from the list.
• Since we export the changes to various lpars from a hub, there is always a risk of CSDs being out of sync between the hub and the actual Target lpar. To overcome the risk, we are having to always double check the list contents in both the Target and Hub to ensure both are in Sync before migrating the List.
Thanks & Regards,
Lakshmi
Hi Lakshmi, I discussed this requirement with CICS CM development. As we are not able to address the requirement in the near future, have you considered the following method of creating a group list in the order you require and then migrating it to a DFHCSDUP format export file. This has been tested by CICS CM support and they confirmed that the order of the groups in the list is preserved when you package and migrate a group list to a DFHCSDUP format export file. The order is preserved both in the export file itself and then in any CSD config to which it is imported
This can be achieved in CICS CM by:
1. Creating the List in a CSD config in option 2.X
2. Packaging the List, either in option 2.X or 3.1
3. Migrating the List to a DFHCSDUP export file
4. Importing the DFHCSDUP export file to a CSD config
Please let me know if this would satisfy your requirement.
