Having discussed this idea with development, there is a sufficient workaround currently instead of implementing this as an idea. The workaround will be to cut and paste the field description from the prompt list. Keep in mind that that Statistics Alerts are not often created, so using cut/paste would not be onerous. Also, the Alert field in the Alert condition is intended to provide a meaningful description of the condition in the Alert report to identify the condition triggered. An issue identified with this idea would also be that there is the option for the user to add more fields, so this would have implications when a user adds more fields. Closing this idea for now, please re-open if you feel there is a more compelling use case.
