This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This function has been delivered via PTF for APAR PI94493 to CICS PA V5.4.
This is something we would like to address. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status. Please note:

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Enterprise Tooling
Product - CICS Performance Analyzer
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Enterprise Tooling
Product - CICS Performance Analyzer
Please see comments from development:
1) Please include or make provision to include APPLID field in the summarized Exception report. CICS PA should be able to summarize the data based on APPLID AND/OR TRANID rather than just TRANID. I hope the SMF Header has APPLID that we can use for this purpose.
Worthwhile requirement. The APPLID is in the SMF header. I can see that summarisation based on the combinations mentioned could be useful.
2) Please add feature to summarize the Exception based on Date and Time. Also please include interval limit for the summary.
This information is available the Exception List report. A better use case might be seeing which part of the day generate high number of
exceptions. Unless a stronger case can be made, this is not something we would consider as part of future enhancement to the Exception Summary report.
3) Please add feature to select the items i want to summarize. Rather than summarizing all the available fields (TS, Pool, File, Temp Storage etc) it
would be nice to look at only the items of interest.
The Exception Summary report is a small report , 9 fields!, and is not hard to read, so to make it customisable would be overkill. Hence this is not something we would consider as part of future enhancement to the Exception Summary report.
