CICS TS GLUE XFCFROUT should pass the UEP_FC_SYSID from REMOTESYSTEM file control definition if SYSID not specified

CICS Interdependency Analyzer for z/OS users collecting dependency data need to determine if EXEC CICS file control requests are function shipped to a remote system. If the EXEC CICS file control command specifies the SYSID(xxxx) parameter, the CICS IA Dependency Reporter identifies the SYSID where the request will be shipped. If however, the EXEC CICS command does *NOT* specify the SYSID(xxxx) on the command but instead relies on the file control definition REMOTESYSTEM(xxxx) for function shipping, the SYSID is not available in the XFCREQC GLUE. CICS TS APAR PQ87049 introduced UEP_xx_REMOTE_SYSTEM (where _xx_ is IC, PC, TS, or TD for interval control, program control, temporary storage, or transient data function shipped requests). CICS IA collected the SYSID in the XICEREQC, XPCEREQC, XTSECREQC, and XTDEREQC GLUEs for these function shipped requests. No such field was introduced for function shipped file control requests. The XFCFROUT GLUE for file control is passed the UEP_FC_SYSID at the completion of a function shipped file control request, but only if the EXEC CICS command specified the SYSID(xxxx) parameter. The XFCFROUT GLUE should pass the UEP_FC_SYSID from the REMOTESYSTEM definition if not specified on the EXEC CICS command so CICS IA can collect the dependency.

This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the twelve months, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server
