A print feature would be very useful to us if we are to move from the WUI to the Explorer. Today many of us "Print" documents to a PDF so that we send the attachment to our developers. We also save as an MHT (web archive) but that is definitely not an option with eclipse.
We added "Copy to clipboard" into CICS Explorer 1.1.1 which is so that folks can get data (and column headings) for selected data into the clipboard, and from there into a desktop product. This gives greater flexibility than printing as it means the data can be formatted, finessed. We are not intending to add print support as we hope that clipboard is sufficient, so I'm going to reject this RFE. Many thanks, Joe
I received this request from many customer who would like to print different views for TOOLS plugin. One example is the "Call tree of the program execution" view for CICS IA plugin or CICSPA graphics views.
This RFE does apply very much also for the various views provided by the CICS Tools plug-in.
