This RFE has been addressed by new functionality shipped with CICS Explorer 5.5.0.17 which is now available.
A new text entry facility for scoping requests has been added to the CICSplex Explorer view in CICS Explorer. It allows specification of a CICSplex name and a system group or individual CICS system and will prompt with possible values. This allows easier navigation across multiple CICSplexes and across a large number of CICS regions to facilitate quicker scoping of requests than can be achieved by scrolling through possible options and clicking.
This RFE has been reassessed. This is something we would like to address. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status. Please note:

We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

Please reconsider this request. CICS Explorer users (developers) should be able to quickly define scopes that matter to the applications they support rather than the configuratation determined by CICS administrators.
Moving the state of this requirement back to Uncommitted candidate as it is not planned to be delivered in the next release.
