New Copy Facility for CICS Event Processing Resource Bundles

Customer would like to see a "New Copy" facility made available for CICS Resource Bundles. In particular they would like to use the facility with CICS Event Processing.
Other CICS facilities have this mechanism for defining a resource to CICS and it is currently quite long winded process if you have to discard a bundle in order to define a new bundle resource.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in eighteen months time if you wish it to be considered then.

Moving this RFE's state back to Uncommitted candidate as it is not targeted to be in the next release but is a candidate for inclusion in a future release after that.

This is something we would like to address. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status.  Please note:

One thing CICS Explorer could do is provide an update option that would make the install dialog perform the enquire / disable / discard on the resources from the bundle parts for the bundle being re-installed, which would have the same effect.
