PLT TABLES LOADED DURING THE STARTUP. NOT COMPILED.

Our Macys customer have over 400 regions, each using it's own PLT PI and PLT SD. During an upgrade, we have to compile over 800 PLT tables, which is very time consuming. Plus we have an extra work to document and keep track of all the PLTs to know which one is the source for each region.

    I agree with this requirement and would like to add an additional requirement. Currently all PLT programs run under one high authority system userid, which our security auditors are not happy about. If you are moving PLT programs to RDO, can you add a "USERID" attribute so that we can run each PLT program on a suitable userid? We may want CPSM to start on one userid, application programs to run under a different one, and other initialization programs to run on a third id?

    Additionally, while I don't personally have this as a requirement, it may be nice to designate threads. Perhaps anything with the same thread name will run serially. By default, everything will run as it does today (one at a time), but if a program has no dependence on something else, give it a different name and let it run parallel to the other PLT programs. Again, I don't have a need for this, it was just an idea.

    Also, we could use an option to start a task instead of running the program in a PLT. The userid option would again be useful here.
