TCPIPSERVICE compatibility with AT-TLS

We need the TCPIPSERVICE resource to be able to obtain the Userid that AT-TLS mapped from an SSL certificate passed from a client. The old CICS Sockets interface has this capability. We have a requirement to use AT-TLS for all netwotk encryption and authentication. Our desire is to have AT-TLS do the encryption and authentication, map a RACF userid from the client certificate then have it passed to the TCPIPSERVICE to start a CICS Web Service.

This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which is generally available from December 11th 2015.

A TCPIPSERVICE can be defined as ATTLSAWARE and that allows the socket listener to use the userid extracted by AT-TLS from the client certificate when starting the user transaction (or pipeline transaction).

We also have a desire (but not yet a requirement) to use AT-TLS, but we can't consider it because we need the userid from the certificate. We also need the other commands related to certificates to return the same information they do today, such as EXTRACT TCPIP with SSLTYPE, and EXTRACT CERTIFICATE. Until we have at least the userid and SSLTYPE, we cannot consider AT-TLS (we are not currently using EXTRACT CERTIFICATE but that is also under consideration).
