CICSPlex SM WUI. Request to optimize the definition of a new CICS system, using an existing definition as a reference.

Please, see the screens attached to this request. When the customer is creating a new CICS definition via CPSM, it is usual to use an existing definition with similar characteristics as a reference/sample. During the definition of the "CICS system link definitions", customer selects all the connections (screen 1) and "presses" the button "Create". In the next screen (screen 2), customer must inform the Primary CICS system name (the new CICS) and the Secondary CICS
system name and press the button "Yes", one at a time, in order to define all the connections. The customer's request is the following:

In the screen 2, they would like:
- that the CPSM preserves the information provided in the Primary CICS System name and
- to be included a "Yes to all" button in order to propagated the CICS system link definitions to all connections previous selected in the screen 1.

Customer has a similar request related to the "CICS system to system group links" shown in the screens 3 and 4.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    This requirement has been re-evaluated.  CICS Explorer 1.1.1 and 5.1  provide this capability. We have no current plans to provide this capability in the WUI, and so the RFE is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in eighteen months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    Long term this is a candidate for inclusion in a future release, but is not committed to any release plan at this time. If implemented the function would be made available via Explorer rather than enhancements to the WUI.
