CICSPlex SM WUI. Request to optimize the addition or association of some resource definitions.

On the view "CICS system definitions", customer selects a CICS and presses the button "Add to CICS system group". On the next screen, "Add to CICS system group", customer would like to be able to add the CICS system to multiple CICS system groups (on the screen "Resource selection" is possible to select just one resource).
There are the same restrictions to add a resource definition (e.g. transaction) to multiple Resource groups and to associate multiple CICS systems to a WLM specification. The related screens are attached to this request.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    This is a candidate for inclusion in a future release, but is not committed to any release plan at this time. If implemented the function would be made available via Explorer rather than enhancements to the WUI.

    The third part of this requirement can currently be addressed with the use of CSYSGRPS. Regions can be added to a CSYSGRP and the CSYSGRP can be associated with the WLM specification. A single region can also be associated with a WLM specification but we have no plans to allow more than one region to be associated with a WLM specification without the use of a CSYSGRP.
