DESCRIPT : CICS system programmers need the ability to dynamically control the number of specific transactions executing concurrently in two or more CICS regions.
VALUE : Growth enablement was rated 5 because this affinity can limit a transaction to a single region. This limits an installation's ability to fully utilize dynamic transaction routing. System Management was rated 5 because this new function would greatly enhance a system programmers ability to manage numbers of transactions executing in two or more CICS regions.

    This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in eighteen months time if you wish it to be considered then.
