Expand the data content of the CICS DLA along with the ability to filter unwanted data.

The CICS DLA currently collects data for 17 resources and only the NAME and LABEL field for each resource. In order to support the change history use case in TADDM, all 35 or so classes needed to be collected along with the attributes of each (minus any attributes that are not configurable by a human). Since this would result in significantly higher volumes of data, filtering capability would need to be provided. This could be pre-discovery filtering or filtering that occurs after the book is created so that only the data the customer wants to bulk load into TADDM is loaded. Note: Since Tivoli also has a CICS discovery component that ships with TADDM as part of the z/OS DLA, implementation of this RFE could happen in either product. There is a corresponding RFE (16414) against Tivoli for this function. From a customer (SSA and others) perspective, they just want the function

    This requirement has been re-evaluated.  Looking at current plans, it is not likely to be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in eighteen months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
