Resources removed due to 'cascade' deletion are not displayed in advance or logged for audit purposes.

This is a follow-on to RFE 22677, which discusses the need for additional information message only. When a resource is deleted in the WUI (a CSYSDEF for example), the user is presented with a warning that states: "WARNING. For this definition type, removal will cascade through related associations." There are two problem here.
First, the user is not given an opportunity to view WHAT resources will be deleted before confirming the delete request.
Second, there is no log of what was deleted. The original resource being deleted DOES get logged in the EYULOG, but the other resources deleted due to a 'cascade' do NOT get logged in the EYULOG.
For example, a new CSYSDEF is created, and three new SYSLINK definitions are created for it. All four resources ( 1 CSYSDEF and 3 SYSLINK ) are logged in EYULOG. However, when the CSYSDEF is deleted, only the CSYSDEF deletion is logged. The three SYSLINK definitions (or anything else deleted by the cascade delete) are not logged.

We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

There are two parts to the RFE. For the first part, we have no plans to upgrade the WUI to view what resources will be deleted before confirming the request.
The second part, thw logging of cascaded releases is something that is a candidate for a future release although there is a concern about the number of messages that potentially can be produced, for example while a CSYSDEF can only be associated with a single WLMSPEC, MONSPEC and RTASPEC (so that is possibly up to three additional XD0002I messages), it can be associated with any number of CSGLCGCS records (links to system groups) and SYSLINKs.

This RFE also has similarities with RFE ID 22678.
