This is something we would like to address. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status. Please note:

In hindsight this should not have been accepted as an RFE, but rather a FIN apar accepted. The RFE is being made private. Its a tricky problem but development will look at it again.
I don't understand how this is considered an enhancement and not defect while customer availability is impacted.
