DFHDSDS4 ABEND S0C4 at offset X'3E06'

Service request 34316 004 000 was opened with support for the following abend in CICS.
DFHDSDS4 ABEND S0C4 at offset X'3E06' occurred after DB2 abended and CICS tried to reconnect. The reconnect failed, and CICS had to be recycled

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    This requirement is satisfied by CICS TS 5.2 which is generally available from June 13th 2014.

    This requirement is satisfied by CICS TS 5.2 which was announced 7th April 2014 with a planned general availability date of June 13th 2014. For more information see the IBM CICS Transaction Server for  z/OS, V5.2 announcement letter

    In hindsight this should not have been accepted as an RFE, but rather a FIN apar accepted. The RFE is being made private. Its a tricky problem but development will look at it again.
