Integrated compilation support for EXCI batch program

I have a quick question about a compilation of EXCI batch program. My colleague says that CICS integrated compilation can do compile EXCI program with CICS"EXCI" option and it seems to work ok. According to the publication, EXCI program should be compiled with cics translated program. We use COBOL V4.2 now. Is there any enhancement around this? Actually we use SCLM and its language definition to compile our programs and the use of CICS translated program will need additional efforts. So we're wondering if COBOL integrated compilation supports EXCI batch program compilation or if there is any limitation or risks around this...

There is a problem with using the PLI compiler with the integrated translator, but Cobol and C look to be ok. This is something we would like to address. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status.  Please note:

The CICS integrated translator does not support EXCI and will issues the DFH7006I warning message. A few customers have reported if they ignore the warning message the translated source compiles and works fine. However until this scenario is investigated and tested its use is at the customers' own risk. This requirement is a candidate for a future release.
