Be able to start a MAS from the CPSM WUI

To day it is possible to STOP a MAS from the CPSM WUI. The users group would like to be able to START a MAS or MASses from the CPSM WUI.
To day System Engineers supply REXX/ISPF interfaces to CICS development team or pilots, in order to start/stop CICS regions. As CPSM becomes more popular (meaning that the standard way to stop CICS regions is to use WUI views) customers want to suppress these home made tools and replace them with CPSM WUI views. This wouls both promote CPSM within customer shops and avoid specific developments made by system engineers.

This could be done from the CICS regions view.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.

    This is something we will consider for a future release. It is likely that it would be provided via CICS Explorer rather than the WUI.
