CPSM is generating ATNI message & dump

Customer Fargo has a CPSM HealthCheck program that reads sysout looking for messages that might reflect an error that it "does not know". And in this case (see PMR for ANTI / dump discussion), it also generates a dump ... which customer then feels compelled to send to IBM Support for review. Customer feels that CPSM is more sensitive than CICS to certain conditions & could handle better.

Per L2 Support, EYU9XLRV recovery in the MAS environment, can determine if the running tranid is a user tranid and if the component method is WLM. In that case, if the abend code is ATNI, then CPSM should not SDUMP as in this specific case (PMR) CPSM should not care about a user transaction in WLM having a ATNI. If the user had their own EYU9WRAM program, these programs converse with the user terminal to write specific EYUWRnnnn type messages related to affinity management. If an ATNI occurred while dealing with one of these, why didn't CPSM FFDC capture an SDUMP for a failed terminal write to the terminal by CPSM code. This could be a catch 22 type situation? Seems that CPSM is taking the worst case decision to FFDC and take a dump versus not taking a dump.

L2's feedback was suggestion for MR for a design change where individual CICS regions, ie, specify a MAS or CMAS level EYUPARM where the customer could add specific abend codes for which they know they do not want a SDUMP.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.
