For an EXCI connection you are never going to see an allocate, because this is the CICS end of the connection and the allocate is done at the batch end. The connection statistics data is predominantly what happened from this region's end of a connection so metrics like Allocates don't make much sense since they would have logically been done from the other end, for EXCI this might be the batch job, CICS TG, etc. For EXCI connections in particular one needs to use the terminal session statistics data records for the connection in order to fully understand the level of activity for that connection. This is also true for any type of connection that in order to get a complete view of a conections usage then you need to look at the connection statistics from both ends along with their related terminal session statistics records.
