Ability to control the usage of TS resource.

This request is a complement of RFE ID 25899. Despite the TS queues are above the bar, customer would like to have the ability to control or limit its usage in order to prevent some bad handling of this resource by the application programs (they had some problems). Customer would like to be able to set limits, e.g., to the number of items or to the time life of the TS (including the "active" TSs).

Thanks for your feedback. The RFE will be marked as uncommitted candidate meaning it is a candidate for inclusion in a future release.

Hello. Thanks for your update. Customer said these capabilities can help them. They emphasized that would like both abilities: to set a policy to limit the total number or TS requests a CICS task could issue AND to limit the total amount of data a CICS task could put to temporary storage.
    Best regards.

One way we could address this would be to, in a future release, provide the ability to set a policy to limit the total number or TS requests a CICS task could issue, or to limit the total amount of data a CICS task could put to temporary storage. This would not be on a per queue basis, but across all queues used by the task. Would this capability help ?
