Change The Control Record In The CSD To Include Previous And Current CICS Release Data

The customer copied the contents of a 5.3.0 CSD to a 6.2.0 CSD. Next, the customer used the DFHCSDUP UPGRADE processing to change the CICS-supplied resource definitions in a primary CSD file. Later the customer noticed that the SYSPRINT from the DFHCSDUP processing included the following text:

'CSD CREATED BY RELEASE: 5.3.0'

From my reading for the DFHCSDUP processing in the 'CICS Resource
Definition Guide', it appears that the DFHCSDUP INITIALIZE processing
creates a control record at the start of the CSD file. This record includes fields which identify the CICS release, current level of service applied to the CSD, date and time the CSD was created and date and time the last update was done for the CSD.

The customer is requesting that if the DFHCSDUP INITIALIZE processing is not done on a CSD that information concerning the CICS, such as the CICS release be updated in the CSD.

    Product family - Transaction Processing

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
