CICS IPIC use of Sysplex Distributor for High Availability and Workload Balancing purposes

We would like CICS to use Sysplex Distributor to balance workload from a requester region in a SYSPLEX to several server regions in another SYSPLEX over IPIC connections on every transaction execution.
Our requirement is similar to RFE 24351 but adding Workload Balancing support at transaction level. Each transaction execution should be routed to the best candidate CICS server region according to SD/WLM criteria.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    Sysplex Distributor is not designed to be aware of CICS tasks and do request routing on that basis. The solution for that is our CPSM WLM support. This RFE is being rejected.

    This is something that we are looking to address at some point. It is a candidate for inclusion in a future CICS TS release.
