SPI Audit retrofitted to CTS 4.2 environment.

Rrequesting the SPI Audit
function be ported from CICS TS 5.1 to CICS TS 4.2.

Without an auditing function for changes made though CICS explorer, we could not promote this product as a viable software solution to controlling our CICS environment. If the auditing existed in CTS 4.2 though, we would be willing to show this around.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    We have no plans to back migrate the SPI Audit function to CICS TS 4.2.

    One possibility could be to try out the functionality with the CICS TS 5.1 Open Beta which is available until January and you can download the CICS TS 5.1 Explorer from the open beta site. After the open beta finished, we will have CICS TS 5.1 Developer Trial available in January, which likewise you could use to try out the new functionality.
