AMODE(64) modules in GSA

I have an existing RFE 30605 - 64 bit COBOL for CICS. Assuming this RFE is completed, I would like this subsequent RFE considered. It would be having CICS load AMODE(64) modules into the GSA (the shared address range between 2 terabytes - 512 terabytes). This would be something that CICS would do automatically, and would not require the customer to put the modules in GSA like what is currently required for ECSA, ELPA, etc.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

I was using the wrong terminology when I said AMODE(64) modules in GSA. What I should have said was RMODE(64) modules in GSA. Basically, the load module is loaded into a common above the bar virtual address range (like the GSA) so that one physical copy of the load module is shared against many virtual storage address spaces at the same virtual address location.

I wanted to add more details about the main point behind this RFE. The main thrust is for CICS to provide functionality where if multiple CICS regions on a system have a load module A loaded in their virtual address spaces, there is just one copy of the load module in physical storage. This RFE is suggesting one way where this could be accomplished with an inode or unique identifier tied to library members and exploiting the vast 510 terabyte range of the "GSA". If IBM would want to do this leveraging a GRDSA, that would be fine as well. If this RFE is confusing or unclear, please let me know and I can add more details.

    Thanks,
    Tim
