SQLJ support in CICS Liberty Profile.

In order to not have to write our own code, we request SQLJ to be supported in CICS Liberty profile.

    This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which is generally available from December 11th 2015.

    SQLJ in a CICS Liberty environment using the cics data source is now supported. Note this support applies to Type 2 connectivity only, SQLJ with type 4 is not supported.

    This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which was announced on October 5th 2015 with a planned general availability date of December 11th 2015.

    Testing is complete. SQLJ in a CICS Liberty environment using the cics data source is supported in CICS TS 5.2. Note this support applies to Type 2 connectivity only, SQLJ with type 4 is not supported.

    SQLJ support in Liberty for JDBC type2 connectivity is something we'd like to address in a future release
