ProvideTS51 Supplemental Data Areas Manual for support for existing user written CICS programs

After upgrading from CICS TS41 to TS51, some of my
applications are abending. Some of the data areas have moved. We wrote these applications in earlier versions with the supplemental data areas manual was available. I cannot maintain these programs without knowing the offsets.

I was able to modify the programs during the TS41 upgrade, because IBM sent me the supplemental data areas information. But for TS51, I was told that this information is no longer available to the customers.

If I upgrade to TS51 all of these programs will break. So this is holding up my upgrade.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    IBM,

    We have worked though our issues by taking dumps of the programs in question and calculating the offsets.

    Thank you for consideration, but you can close this RFE. We do not need the information now.

    (We can revisit if we need the information for the next TS release).

    What control blocks are you referencing? Its an obvious thing to say, but you should not be writing applications that rely on our internal control blocks. We would prefer to have RFEs that request api or spi to return the information you require.
