This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Well, seems like this would be a basic function of RDO (batch); can add + remove stuff to a list, but not check. What if an invalid name is added to a list shared by many regions and fails later at startup (not good).
I can write a 3270 script to parse the output of a CEDA CHECK(L1,L2,L3,L4), I don't see buying a new product for this facility,
Thanks for your consideration of this enhancement,
We have no plans to provide this function as it is already available in CICS Configuration Manager (CICS CM).
The CICS CM deployment analysis function provides this capability. This CICS CM function can be invoked using the ISPF interface or using the CICS CM plug-in to the CICS Explorer. When using the CICS CM deployment analysis function in the CICS CM plug-in, CICS CM builds the CHECK JCL and the user can specify the group lists that are to be checked. The ISPF function also provides the CHECK function. CICS CM also provides a batch facility to run various deployment analysis reports including the CHECK report.
