Provide method to identify CSD's maintenance level.

Provide a way to examine a DFHCSD file, and determine the version, release and maintenance level of the file.
As part of rolling out RSU maintenance to our CICS reigons, there is usually a hold action requirement to run the DFHCSDUP program against the DFHCSD file, specifying UPGRADE USING(DFHCURDM). Of course the steplib points to the new RSU library. This requirement is fully
understood.

We upgrade our DFHCSD files first, because in some cases we have a hundred CICS regions sharing the same DFHCSD file. Over the following
weeks we upgrade the RSU level of groups of the individual CICS regions.
Once again, this type of rollout has a history of success.

With 1,500 CICS reigons, we had to implement a CICS region inventory
system that tracks many configuration items for all of our CICS regions,
such as each region's version, release and RSU level, along with the
name of the DFHCSD file used. I would like to measure the version,
release, and maintenance level of each DFHCSD file, so I could identify
any DFHCSD files that were restored from a pre-upgrade backup, for
example.

Another need for identifying the DFHCSD's maintenance level is to check
before upgrading a CICS region that shares that DFHCSD file.

This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which is generally available from December 11th 2015.

DFHCSDUP LIST shows the current status of the CSD file. If maintenance has been applied to the CSD an additional heading is shown: LAST CSD MAINTENANCE UPGRADE USED filename AT PTF ptfnumber LEVEL
For example, maintenance applied through DFHCSDUP UPGRADE USING(DFHCURDM) indicates the PTF level of DFHCURDM that was used.

This is something we would like to address. If a CSD has been upgraded for example using DFHCSDUP UPGRADE USING(DFHCURDM) then it should be possible to store away the PTF level of DFHCURDM and report it on a LIST command. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status.
