This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The two step implementation will be considered separately. These are candidates for inclusion in a future release.
In the PoC where we discovered this issue, we tried to do both. So the requirement is for both. But if it will be a 2 step implementation, we could probably do the filtering in IBM Business Monitor, but then again, we would capture more data than actually needed to be able to do that.
To enable us to scope/size this requirement so it can be considered for possible inclusion in a future release of CICS TS could you please let us
know whether Danske Bank need the ability to both filter on and capture indirect data or whether they just need the ability to capture the indirect
data in emitted events ? . That is do they need to refer to this indirect data when defining Application Data predicates (see the Filtering tab in
CICS Event Binding Editor) to control when events are to be emitted, e.g.only emit an event if the character string at offset X in the control block addressed by a pointer at offset Y in the COMAREA equals "ABC" ?
