DFH$MOLS option to pass all SMF records with EXTEND and decompress DB2 SMF

1. The DFH$MOLS utility EXPAND option uncompresses the SMF 110 Subtype 1 records, but it does not write any other SMF records to its output. An option to pass all input records into the output when EXPAND is specified is needed, and the output must be in the same order as the input SMF file. 2. DFH$MOLS needs to also support the SMF 112 compressed record. 3. While not part of CICS/TS, it would be even better if DFH$MOLS would support the DB2 SMF 101 compressed records, so that a single execution of DFH$MOLS against an input SMF file would create an output file with all compressed records from either CICS or DB2 uncompressed into the output file. 4. It would be even better if the resulting CICS-DB2 utility could be designed to uncompress ANY SMF record, where the user would provide the SMF ID and Subtype, the offset to the start of the compressed data, then length of compressed data, so that future IBM compressed records would not require reprogramming of the utility. 5. And, if you could convince z/OS SMF Product to take over this function, and provide the ability to decompress SMF data from any product as it is being dumped or copied by those SMF product utilities, that would provide the maximum flexibility and ease for all users who could chose the best program for their purposes in handling SMF files.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

We have no plans to provide this function.
