CICS externalize to SYS1.LOGREC the PSW and Registers at time of abend.

CICS doesn't currently write out a Software Record to SYS1.LOGREC at time of Abend or Program Check. Such a Software Record would contain the PSW and Registers at time of error. Instead CICS writes that
information to an internal Error Table and then initiates a dump. The Symptom Records that CICS puts out for certain error messages do not contain PSW and Registers.

This would be a good idea to have PSW and Regs from most abends and program checks written to SYS1.LOGREC.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    In CICS TS 4.2 changes were made that added the CICS registers and PSW at the time of the error to LOGREC. Hence this RFE is being answered closed, delivered.
