Can an option be added in TCLASS for timeout value before purging tasks?

Customer relies on TCLASS to prevent transaction jam if necessary. So they defined many TCLASS to control the transaction running. One fact they found now is if the transaction reached the tclass queued number, the tasks will be purged immediately. Sometimes the reason of tasks reach the tclass queued number, but there is not a real transaction jam, it only due to many tasks started at a one time. The customer hope CICS has a timeout option in begin to purge tasks. You may think they can add the number of tclass queued, but that will not good when we hope cics help to purge tasks when a real transaction jam problems happen.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
