This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The suggested implementation would require similar changes to BUNDDEF for CPSM BAS as well as changes to CSD and CEDA. This does not fit with our CICS bundle strategy for Java. The best advice would be to use a single JVM server in each Region. A problem remains where the JVM server name is different in DEV, TEST and PROD. Please see JVM server category - Dynamic Deployment (80854).
I recieved and email that asked for mor information yet I am not sure what you want. This is a pretty striaght forward request. We would like to be able to put in a JVMServer name in the CSD Bundle definition and that would then when installed run the bundle in the specified JVM. This would then override the JVMServer name in the .osgibundle file.
example <<<< if this could be optional and then if not specified it could be picked up from the CSD bundle definition that is installing this.
