Set HTTP TRACE to NOTRACE per Default

Security complains a security - hole due to the http trace is active. This is IBM's default: "By default, all HTTP TRACE requests receive an HTTP 200 (OK) response. You can override this setting so that trace is not enabled.". So Trace and Track should be NOT ACTIVE by Default ASAP. There is no need to run with an active trace.

This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which is generally available from December 11th 2015.

HTTP TRACE requests are no longer supported by CICS. They receive an HTTP 501 (Not Implemented) response.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This RFE is being reopened and will be marked as an uncommitted candidate to be considered for a future release.

    Hello IBM,
    I can not accept that:
The current configuration is nonsense. Here is something active by default what is not needed and this can be relevant to safety according to our security.
Also the variant, proposed by the lab, makes changes necessary with every release and version.
This would be pure provision of work!
    Regards,
    Claus Reis

This requirement has been evaluated. We do not have any plans to change the default setting. The Infocentre shows a method of disabling trace. Correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in eighteen months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
