CPSM Allow WLMAWAOR view to be modified by an EVALDEF to set a QUIESCED AOR to ACTIVE when another AOR has become unavailable

CPSM - in the event of a region not accepting work, could CPSM
automatically activate a spare region? We have a 'spare' region in
QUIESCED status in WLMAWAOR, the question is whether this region can be
activated without trapping an SNA alert and coding an API to do it.
Currently the WLMAWAOR object can only be accessed via an API program. Customer would like to be able to modify WLMAWAOR via an EVALDEF and not have to write application API program.
From the CPSM Resource Table Reference :

Usage Identifies the valid uses for the resource table, as one of the following:

API It can be referenced from the CICSPlex SM API.
Batch Utility It can be processed using the batched repository-update facility.
EVALDEF It can be named in a real-time analysis evaluation definition.

2.340 WLMAWAOR Resource Table

A CPSM Workload Manager object that describes a CICS system used as an AOR in an active workload

ACTIVATE Allow transactions to be routed to an AOR.
QUIESCE Do not route new transactions to an AOR.

These actions require no unique parameter data.

When an AOR QUIESCE, is requested no new transactions are routed to the AOR. Existing tasks are not affected. Only transactions with an
affinity to the AOR continue to be routed. When all affinities have been removed, the AOR no longer receives any new transactions.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.
