Ask for CICS file OPEN in Read Update/Write/Del statement set the open input flag in SMF 62

We need to make statistics on how files are used on our system. For that we use SMF record 62. But when a file is open under CICS in Read/Write CICS open the File In OUTPUT only, so the flag Input Processing in field SMF62MC1 remains to NO.
We would like CICS strictly respects open flags and generate the macro corresponding to an open I-O and not only open OUTPUT so Input processing flag would be set to Y and statistics would be accurate.
Same RFE has been open for Batch COBOL (RFE 46836)

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

As was state in the 46836 RFE against for batch cobol, DFSMS opens a file by setting the flag bit "OUT", it can support both input and output operations. CICS has its servreq settings which govern which requests are allowed against a file.

An alternative way way would be examine the CICS SMF statistics records which report the number of requests of each type against a file.
